The MacBook Neo is the most exciting laptop released in years. It offers tremendous value if you're sticking to basic use only. Email, web-browsing, office applications, and collaboration tools. There is nothing quite like it at its price point. It looks far better than Windows alternatives and feels more premium. However, its performance is extremely basic. University students in particular should be very careful buying a MacBook Neo. You may want to try different classes and hobbies during your degree. The Neo's performance may prevent you from doing that. We would suggest buying an older MacBook Air instead.
